NSA Collecting E-mails--A Plus?

Just the other day I attempted to subpoena a person's text messages that could possibly help out that person in a case. The response from the cellular phone company was that they only keep them for one year. Perhaps the solution would be to subpoena the NSA's records?

Maybe NSA is collecting all those records so that they can help the national debt by selling the records to corporations, and then submitting the money to the Treasury department.
